haiku

sunset ray on the

empty corridors ---

the birds' last song

echoing in the last ray

the temple toll and

a crow's caw

sunset lotuses

they too have closed

for the day

Sunset at the Sea

the blazing sun lost in its own shine

the clouds encode each of the rays

cotton waves of scarlet, red, orange

the signature of the sun before

its exit from the realm of day

a sea continuously sends its

audacious smile from the horizon

a shimmering gaeity of the heart

amid miles of goodbye pounded

so loudly over the seas and so

splendidly played out over the sky

two lovers panting, hugging, kissing, looking into each other

like no light can part them

Jealous of the sun Will you forgive me, she asks. The sun was shining  and I hiked-up my skirt and opened my knees.
