Sanctuary’s Silent Song

see the supermoon calling

the red spider spinning

Its web and dancing

in the glistening moon

light shining

over its silky home

prey wrapped and waning

over waxy aloe vera

leaves on the porch

a muted august

good night

before the dogs drift

soft slumber cats meow

tranquility created by nurturing

hands in the garden

peace below rib cage

just above the navel

once truth spoke

its name

silence

sang
